You + Your Pet
Pet Nose Print Jewelry
Your fingerprint. Their nose print.
Memori creates custom pet nose print jewelry from physical impressions taken at home using our impression kit.
Your pet’s nose pattern can be made into a piece on its own, paired with a second pet, or paired with your own fingerprint, designed around the bond between you, not simply engraved onto a standard charm.
Every piece is made start to finish by one person: Skye Zheng, the artist who founded Memori.

Not ready to choose a piece yet?
Start with the Founding Member Impression Kit ($29). Take your pet’s nose print at home with no pressure, send it back, and decide on your piece when you’re ready. Your $29 comes back as a credit on any piece of $100 or more, within 60 days. Your impressions stay on file, so there is no need to take them again.

Good to know
Is the impression process safe?
Our silicone clay needs no heating, so there is nothing hot near your pet, and an impression takes only a light, brief touch.
As with anything new around animals, stay with your pet the whole time, don’t let them lick, chew, or swallow the clay, and gently wipe their nose afterward. If your pet is anxious or has a sensitive nose, check with your veterinarian first, and stop if they seem uncomfortable.
Tips
What if my pet moves?
- Choose a calm moment, like after a walk or a nap.
- Ask a helper to hold and reassure your pet.
- Press lightly and briefly; we only need a small section of the print.
- Offer a treat afterward, so it stays a happy moment.
Your kit includes two extra clay samples, so you can simply try again. If an impression isn’t clear enough, we’ll ask for a retake at no charge. If your pet won’t sit still for a nose print, a paw print works too.
Which print?
Nose print vs. paw print
Nose print
Like a fingerprint, a dog’s or cat’s nose carries its own pattern of fine ridges and creases. It is the most personal print a pet has, and the one we recommend first.
Paw print
We capture a small section of a paw pad, not the whole paw. It is a good alternative for pets who won’t stay still for a nose print.
Fur pattern
The texture of their coat can also be captured. We review every impression and will reach out if anything needs to be retaken.
Take their print while you can
A few calm seconds, kept for years
Skye, Memori’s founder, took her dog Hiuhiu’s nose print with our own impression kit. After Hiuhiu passed, she compared it with the clay paw print from the veterinary clinic, and the difference was clear: the fine ridges simply weren’t there.
A good impression takes only a few calm seconds and keeps for years. If you’ve been meaning to, our $29 kit lets you capture their print now and decide on a piece whenever you’re ready.
Cast from the real print
Not a photo. Not engraved.
Many nose print pieces are made by tracing a photo of a nose and laser-engraving the outline onto a standard charm. Memori works differently. Your pet’s nose is pressed into clay, and that physical impression, with its real depth and ridges, is what each piece is designed and cast from. The texture you feel on the finished piece is the texture of their nose.
Every Memori piece is made start to finish by one person. Skye designs each piece around your prints, carves and prepares the wax, casts it in solid 925 sterling silver, and hand-finishes it herself in her Washington, D.C.-area studio. No step is handed off.
Your piece arrives with a laser-engraved Certificate of Authenticity card, and your clay impressions come back as an Impression Collection Card you can frame and keep. See our Jewelry Care guide to keep the print clear for years.
Questions
Pet nose print jewelry FAQ
How much does pet nose print jewelry cost?
The Infinity Pendant starts at $170, the Infinity Necklace is $198, and the Infinity Double Twist Ring starts at $300. You can also start with our $29 impression kit, which is credited back when you order a piece of $100 or more within 60 days.
Can I make a piece with only my pet’s nose print?
Yes. Any design can carry just your pet’s print. For a single pet print, we recommend The Infinity Pendant, the most accessible piece to start with.
I have two pets. Can both be on one piece?
Yes. Every design can hold two pets’ prints together.
Which pieces can combine my fingerprint with my pet’s?
All of them. The Infinity Pendant, Infinity Necklace, and Infinity Double Twist Ring can each pair one human impression with one pet impression.
Can I use my cat’s nose print?
Yes. A dog’s or cat’s nose print works, and we only need a small section of the print. If your pet won’t cooperate for a nose print, a small section of a paw pad or the pattern of their fur also works.
Is the nose print engraved or cast?
Cast. We work from the physical clay impression, so the real ridges of your pet’s nose are carried into the silver, rather than an outline traced from a photo.
Who makes my piece?
Skye Zheng, Memori’s founder and a sculptor by training, makes every piece herself, from reviewing your impressions to the final polish.
My pet has passed away. Can I still make a piece?
We want to be honest: the clay paw prints many veterinary clinics offer are made to capture the shape of a whole paw, and they rarely hold the fine ridges that make a nose or paw print personal. We’ve seen this firsthand. If you have one, reach out and we’ll take an honest look before you order anything.
Another meaningful way to remember them is with their birthstone. Our pieces can hold up to two hand-set birthstones, so you can pair your own fingerprint with the stone for your pet’s birth month, or the month they came home.
If your pet is still with you, we gently recommend taking their print sooner rather than later.
How long does pet nose print jewelry take?
Your impression kit ships within 3 business days of your order. Production takes about 10 business days from the day your impressions arrive and are approved. Shipping time is additional.
What if my pet’s impression doesn’t come out clearly?
Your kit includes two extra clay samples, so you can try again. We review every impression for clarity before we begin, and if one isn’t clear enough, we’ll ask for a retake at no charge.
Do I get the clay impressions back?
Yes. Once your piece is made, we return your original clay impressions as an Impression Collection Card, a keepsake you can frame.
Can I return a custom piece?
Pieces made from your impressions are final sale. You can cancel for a full refund within 24 hours of ordering, as long as your kit hasn’t shipped. See Shipping & Returns.
